The US Pfizer to lend support to Kazakh clinical studies centre
The company will render financial and technical assistance to the clinical pharmacology institute of the university for two years ahead, Kaznex Invest said. The project is being realized as part of the cooperation program between Pfizer and Healthcare Minitry of Kazakhstan and Kaznex Invest agency. The memo on joint development of clinical research centres in Kazakhstan was signed by Pfizer, Healthcare Ministry and Kaznex Invest last May on the sidelines of the VI Astana Economic Forum. This year it is planned to ink an agreement on investment cooperation. Pfizer is a multinational pharmaceutical corroboration headquartered in New York. It is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies by revenues. It develops and produces medicines and vaccines for a wide range of medical disciplines, including immunology, oncology, cardiology, diabetology/endocrinology, and neurology.
