Three parking lots to be constructed in course of preps for EXPO-2017 in Astana

ASTANA. March 3. KAZINFORM - Akimat of Astana and VINCI Construction Grands Projets company have concluded a memorandum of understanding and collaboration in the development of parking construction (transport) sector of Kazakhstan.

The document has been signed in Astana by the Deputy Mayor of the capital Kanat Sultanbekov and Managing Director for Central Asia, François Chevalier.

According to the document during the current year it is scheduled to begin construction of three parking lots on the left bank of the capital in preparations for the Expo-2017. Implementation of these projects will becarried out through public-private partnerships (PPPs), and in 30 years these parkings will go to the municipality, said K.Sultanbekov.

"Akimat has worked out a feasibility study for the project. We hope that the construction of parking lots will be completed on schedule, " said Deputy Mayor at the signing ceremony.
