Three quakes recorded in an hour 300 km away from Almaty

Three quakes were recorded in an hour 300 km away from Almaty in the territory of China, Kazinform Agency reports. 

The first quake jolted 323 km southwards of Almaty in China at 00:09:48 Almaty time. Its energy class is 13.3. The 6.1 magnitude quake was felt in Almaty city and three villages of Almaty region, the official website of the seismic stations' network reads.

Another quake was recorded on November 8 at 00:15:03 Almaty time. The energy class is 11.6. The magnitude is 5.2, it said in a statement.

The third quake occurred 318 km southwards of Almaty in China at 00:52:00 Almaty time. The energy class is 11.6. The magnitude is 5.3.

Two more quakes were recorded later 311 km and 308 km away from Almaty at 01:34:17 a.m. and 01:46:13 a.m. respectively.
