Timur Bekmambetov awarded best foreign film director in Las Vegas

ASTANA. April 25. KAZINFORM Timur Bekmambetov was named best foreign film director at the annual festival of movies CinemaCon in Las Vegas, according to Vesti.ru

The award was presented by American film director Tim Burton, who worked together with Bekmambetov on the film "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter."

The duo's previous work was a computer-animated science fiction film "9" in 2009.
