TANAY. November 9. KAZINFORM /Petr Plakhotnikov/ Ozerskoye village of Kostanay region has preserved its own economic structure - grain production closely connected with cattle breeding - since the soviet times. The name of the agricultural enterprise was preserved as well - in soviet times it was collective farm named after K.Marx, today it is Limited Liability Company named after K.Marx. One of the most stable in Kazakhstan agricultural organization is headed by Ivan Vechteyn - German, who decided not to leave Kazakhstan that he considers as his motherland.

The total crop acreage of the LLC is 15 thousand hectares (9300 ha of them are cereal crops). Gross grain harvest was up to 20739 tons in 2009. The cattle breeding are developing in the village as well. Livestock of cattle is 6.5 thousand heads.

For I. Vechteyn, to preserve and increase the livestock number is the matter of principle. To date, the LLC named after K.Marx produces 7.5 thousand tons of milk annually. The average milk yield per cow is 3 414 kg of milk per year in the region. The farm of Vechteyn produces 1.5 times more. The quality of milk allows the farm to have an extra profit.

Earnings from the milk and milk products sale yields a half of the profit of the enterprise. And a half of the grain harvest Vechteyn uses as seeds, workers' payment and forage.

Today I.Vechteyn is a deputy of the regional Maslikhat. However, Ozernoye village doesn't enter the district where he was elected. But Ivan Vechteyn was voted for in the regional center as well.
