Tokayev calls Croatia a reliable partner of Kazakhstan in EU
Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia Andrej Plenković met on the sidelines of the COP29 climate summit in Baku, Akorda reports.
During the meeting, Kazakh leader Tokayev called Croatia as a reliable partner of Kazakhstan in the European Union.
The leaders of both countries discussed the bilateral relations, including in trade-economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
The interlocutors drew special attention to joint investment projects in the energy sector. The Kazakh leader expressed support to Croatian companies, doing business in Kazakhstan. In addition, prospects for simplifying the visa regime were discussed.
Taking the opportunity, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev invited his colleague to take part in the 2nd Astana International Forum in the next year. For his part, Andrej Plenković invited the Kazakh President to visit Croatia.
