Tokayev extends condolences to South Korea's acting President Choi Sang-mok over plane crash
Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a letter of condolences to South Korea’s Acting President Choi Sang-mok, Kazinform News Agency cites Akorda.
President Tokayev with deep sorrow heard the news about the numerous victims as a result of the plane crash at the Muan airport.
The Kazakh leader offered sincere condolences to the family members and close ones of those killed as well as wished a speedy recovery to those survived.
Earlier it was reported that the Jeju Air passenger jet carrying 181 people erupted in flames as it went off the runway and hit a wall at an airport in South Korea's southwestern county of Muan on Sunday, killing 179.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, there were no Kazakh nationals aboard the plane that crashed in Muan.
