Tokayev receives Mangistau rgn governor Nurlan Nogayev

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with Mangistau region governor Nurlan Nogayev, Kazinform News Agency cites Akorda.

During the meeting, the Kazakh President heard a report on the outcomes of the social and economic development of the region in last year. According to the governor, the region had demonstrated the upward dynamics in its main economic indicators.

The Kazakh President was presented with the plan aimed at increasing the level of wellbeing of the region’s residents.

The plan provides for measures aimed at modernizing agriculture, develop infrastructure and ensure the population with quality drinking water.

During the meeting, special attention was attached to the effective use of transport and logistics potential of the region and tourism development.
