Tokayev visits ceramic granite and tiles manufacturing plant in Aktobe

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan got familiarized with the work of Zerde-Ceramic Aktobe, Kazinform News Agency cites the Akorda press service. 

The area of the production facility located in the industrial zone is 15 hectares. The plant produces five million square meters of products per year.

According to the enterprise’s executive director Dauren Bitemirov, the plant meets fully the demand for ceramic granite and tiles of the western regions of Kazakhstan.

Its products are also exported to Russia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.

The plant is unique as its manufacturing process is fully automated and run on the modern Italian equipment SACMI.

The Kazakh Head of State was informed that KZT9.2bn worth of investments were attracted to the construction of the plant.

The state assisted in receiving the loan to the tune of 7.5 million euros from the Industry Development Fund to acquire equipment.
