Tokayev visits secondary school in Yntymak village

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the secondary school No.30, built in Yntymak village near Taldykorgan city this year, Akorda reports.

The 1,200-place education facility was constructed at the expense of the local budget and the republican Education Infrastructure Fund.

Boasting the modern equipment, the school has 77 classrooms, multimedia rooms, sports and gym halls, a concert hall and libraries, woodwork, metalwork and sewing classrooms.

Kazakh President Tokayev took a tour of the school and conversed with its students. The Head of State gifted the facility a school bus.

This year, Zhetysu region saw opening of three new schools, of which two were built as part of the Comfortable school national project. Construction of five schools is underway.

Earlier it was reported that President Tokayev embarked on his working visit to Zhetysu region. The Kazakh leader visited the ASMA INDUSTRIAL plant in the Taldykorgan industrial zone.

President Tokayev was also familiarized with the social and economic development of Zhetysu region as part of his working visit.
