"While forming the Single Economic Space it is too early to talk about a new currency in the territory of two states or establishment of a union state. To date there is no necessity to discuss a new national currency in the territory of the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space," I.Shuvalov said.

He has noted that the single currency is not necessary. "We are aware that development of any integration union to such an extent of integration as we have, will finally early or late result in the necessity of a currency union. However, we are following the policy of our leaders. This issue will be discussed when the time comes," I.Shuvalov added.

Kazakh First Deputy Prime Minister Umirzak Shukeyev agreed with the opinion of his colleague.
