Top priority task of Government to solve promptly socioeconomic issues in Zhanaozen, PM

ASTANA. December 20. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ "The top priority task of the Government today is to create all the necessary conditions for immediate resolution of social, economic and humanitarian problems stemming from the mass riots," Kazakh PM Karim Massimov told at today's Governmental meeting in Astana.

"The Head of State imposed a state of emergency in Zhanaozen to restore public peace and maintain people's safety security."

"Pursuant to the President's task a governmental commission to ascertain the extent of damage and take necessary efforts to stabilize situation was founded."

"The work of the commission will be comprehensive, open and transparent," the PM added.
