Top tennis players to compete at ATP 250 Almaty Open
The world’s top-ranking tennis players will be competing at ATP 250 Almaty Open on October 13, 2024, Kazinform News Agency reports.
Americans Sebastian Korda (ranked 15th) and Frances Tiafoe (ranked 16th), Russia’s Karen Khachanov (ranked 23rd), French Arthur Rinderknech (ranked 25th), and Alexander Bublik (ranked 27th) of Kazakhstan are set to participate in the upcoming tournament.
Additionally, the following players will be participating: Italian Flavio Cobolli (ranked 32nd), Czech Tomas Machac (ranked 35th), French Adrian Mannarino (ranked 46th), Hungarian Fabian Marozsan (ranked 49th), former world No. 9 Fabio Fognini, and others.
Kazakhstan will be represented by Alexander Bublik, the leader of the national team, Alexander Shevchenko, Mikhail Kukushkin, Timofey Skatov, Beibit Zhukayev, and Denis Yevseyev. Aleksandr Nedovyesov will represent Kazakhstan in Men’s Doubles event.
ATP 250 Almaty Open is set to run in Almaty on October 13-20. The previous ATP tournaments were held in the Kazakh capital, Astana.
