Torrential rain, hail cause chaos in Ekibastuz

PAVLODAR. KAZINFORM - Five homes were evacuated as torrential rain and hail hit Ekibastuz on Monday evening.

The town of Ekibastuz was inundated by rain in an hour and a half. Stiff wind prostrated a tree in one of the yards that downed local power line and damaged a vehicle parked there. The damage caused by water and hail is to be estimated. No casualties were reported.
