Tourism companies from Kyrgyzstan participate in annual Ankara Travel Expo

On November 14, 2024, the annual exhibition "Ankara Travel Expo", one of the largest events in the country's tourism industry, opened in the capital of Türkiye, Ankara, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported, Kabar reports.

The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Türkiye, together with representatives of Kyrgyz travel companies such as "Edelweiss-Touristik" and others, is actively participating in the event. The stand of Kyrgyzstan presents information materials about the country's tourism potential, videos, as well as handouts drawing attention to unique natural and cultural attractions.

As part of the exhibition, a meeting was held between the Kyrgyz delegation and the leadership of the Association of Travel Agencies of Türkiye (TÜRSAB), which unites more than 18,000 companies working in the tourism industry. During the talks, the parties agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation and planned to organize a visit of the TÜRSAB delegation to Kyrgyzstan to explore opportunities for further cooperation.

The Ankara Travel Expo will continue its work until November 17, 2024, providing a platform for promoting Kyrgyzstan's tourism opportunities and establishing new partnerships.
