Tourism developemnt to be included into all regional plans

ASTANA April 24. KAZINFORM "Tourism development issue will be included into all regional plans, " said Kazakh Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev  at the Government meeting.

As theKazakh Minister emphasized, there are  a lot of places of interest  for all types of tourism in Kazakhstan  such as  Alakol, Balkhash, Bayanaul, Turkestan and Ulytau.

"Of course, it needs developed infrastructure and new hotels. Unfortunately, the analysis shows that the local hotel occupancy rate is less than 25%. It leads to high cost and shortcomings in service," said A. Issekeshev.

He said the solution to these problems requires a systematic approach at the regional level.
