TPAO, Shell to explore hydrocarbons in Mediterranean Sea

BAKU. November 23. KAZINFORM The Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) and Shell signed an agreement on joint exploration and production of oil and gas in the Mediterranean Sea, TRT Haber reported; Kazinform refers to Trend.

The exploration work will be carried out in an area of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

The work here will come as Ankara's response to the similar work carried out by the Republic of Cyprus in Mediterranean Sea in late September; Kazinform cites Trend.
