Trade-economic coop between Iran and Kazakhstan discussed

ASTANA. October 22. KAZINFORM A meeting of Vice President of the Kazakh Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tatyana Zhdanova with First Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran Mansour Borghei, Iranian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Gorban Seyfi and Commercial Attaché to Almaty Hossein Bamiri has been held in Almaty today, the press service of the Chamber reports.

The issues of extension of trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Iran were discussed at the meeting.

M.Borghei said that adoption of a simplified business visa regime by the Iranian Foreign Ministry would promote business activity. He noted that favorable infrastructure for cargo transportation by railway and through the Caspian Sea in Amirabad, Bandar-e Anzali and Aktau ports has been already established.

T.Zhdanova suggested holding a national exhibition of Iran in our country where Iranian manufacturers would be able to present their products. Besides, there exists an opportunity to rent areas for permanent fair of Iranian goods.

The Iranian side invited Kazakh delegation to visit Mazandaran Province of Iran, get acquainted with its potential and Amirabad port in December this year.
