Trade-economic cooperation is basis of Kazakhstan-Belarus relations - Ambassador A. Smirnov

MINSK. December 29. KAZINFORM /Aituar Mamlin/ Kazakhstan is one of three largest trade-economic partners of Belarus within the CIS, after Russia and Ukraine. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Belarus Anatoly Smirnov has said at a press conference devoted to the results of the country's chairmanship in the OSCE in Minsk today.

"The year 2010 has also been important in development of Kazakhstan-Belarus bilateral relations which is based on trade-economic cooperation and implemented in accordance with the Program of Economic Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Belarus for 2009-2016", the Ambassador noted.

It was noted that currently the Kazakh-Belarusian cooperation is based on 76 treaties and agreements. Regular visits as well as meetings on various levels, meetings between heads of ministries and agencies, regions, enterprises and businessmen facilitate development of trade-economic cooperation.
