Trade in goods and services growing in EAEU countries

In the first half of 2023, only Russia had a current account surplus among the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), the Eurasian Economic Commission said, Kabar reports.

Meanwhile, in the first half of the year, the turnover of trade in goods and services in Armenia and Kazakhstan reached the maximum figures for similar periods since the beginning of integration ($12.2 billion and $78.5 billion, respectively).

In Belarus, the turnover of trade in goods increased by 16.7%. In Kyrgyzstan, the turnover of trade in services grew by 2.6 times, and in Kazakhstan - by 41.7%.

Earlier it was reported that Kazakhstan would reduce its grain exports.
