Trade sector of Kazakhstan demonstrates 13-15% growth in last 5 years

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The trade sector of Kazakhstan demonstrates 13-15% growth in the last five years, deputy of the Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Yelena Tarasenko told at the CCS press conference.

As she noted, the trade sector of Kazakhstan is one of the key sectors for the economy of the country and in its nominal terms it totals KZT 5.3 trln.

"The trade sector has been demonstrating stable growth at the level of 13-15% over the recent five year," Y. Tarasenko said.

According to her, the volume of retail trade increased 40 times from 1995 through 2014, and now one of the main tasks of the Government of Kazakhstan is to create conditions for expansion of the sales market for the products made in Kazakhstan.
