Trade turnover b/w Kazakhstan and Hungary increased by $8 million
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Over the last 10 years bilateral trade volume between Kazakhstan and Hungary has increased by $8 million, this was announced by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Péter Szijjártó at Kazakh-Hungarian business forum in Astana.
"Over the past ten years the volume of bilateral trade between the two countries has increased by $8 million which equals to 63%. At the same time, Hungarian exports to Kazakhstan has grown by 145%," - said Mr. Szijjártó. According to Mr. Szijjártó, Hungary intends to increase a number of the Hungarian SMEs willing to invest in the Eastern markets. He noted that in the present time there are about 2.5 - 3 million SMEs competing in foreign markets. The country intends to increase that number to 12 thousand. In conclusion Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Péter Szijjártó expressed hope that bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Hungary will make a positive contribution to this work.
