Trade turnover b/w Kazakhstan & China in 2013 grew by 11.3%

BEIJING. KAZINFORM - Trade turnover between Kazakhstan and China in 2013 grew by 11.3% to USD 28.5 billion, the General Administration of Customs of China informs.

According to the statistics, total trade exports of Kazakhstan to China reached USD 16 billion (up 14%), imports from China - USD 12.5 billion (up 9.3 %). The positive balance of Kazakhstan in trade with China is USD 3.5 billion.

In general, according to the results of 2013 the volume of China's exports rose by 7.9 % to USD 2.21 trillion. The volume of imports also increased by 7.3% reaching USD 1.95 trillion. China's gross volume of trade for the first time ever exceeded USD 4 trillion.

It bears to remind that Kazakhstan and China intend to bring the trade volume to USD 40 billion by 2015.
