Tragic road accident kills 2 adults, injures 3 kids in Almaty rgn

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Two people were killed and three people injured when a Toyota Highlander jeep collided with a truck on a highway in the Almaty region yesterday.

The fatal car crash happened on the Almaty-Kokpek-Koktal highway near Baltabai village. The jeep rammed into the truck parked on the side of the road. The Toyota Highlander driver died on the spot. Paramedics rushed a female passenger and three children travelling in the vehicle to a hospital. Sadly, the woman died upon arrival and doctors were unable to revive her. The kids are in stable condition. An investigation has been initiated.
