Training aircraft crashes killing 2 in Aktobe region

ASTANA. July 18. KAZINFORM — On July 17 at military airfield in the city of Aktobe, training aircraft L-39 crashed while landing. The airplane was owned by the Military Institute of Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan, as the Main Military Prosecutor's Office reports.

E. Vissarionov, a methodist-inspector of flight security of the Military Aviation Institute, and A. Massalinov, a 2nd year cadet of the Military Institute, who had been on the board, died on the spot.

According to the fact, Aktobe garrison military prosecutor opened a criminal case on suggested possible violation of Article 392 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Violation of rules of flight and flight training".

Aktobe Military Investigation Department of the Western Region of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan has been assigned to carry out the criminal investigation.
