Transport Ministry revokes certificates of three Kazakh airline operators

ASTANA. July 17. KAZINFORM - As a result of re-certification conducted by experts of the Committee of Civil Aviation under the Transport Ministry together with experts from ICAO, airlines «DETA Air» JSC, "MEGA " JSC and "KazAir West " JSC have been withdrawn certificates for the right to get engaged in aviation activity.

This is reported on the official website of the Ministry of Transport and Communications.

These measures were taken because of their non-compliance with accreditation requirements.

In connection with identification of substantive comments on certification examination, particularly because the companies lack the necessary staff, flight documents, engineering logistics, operator certificates have been suspended for 5 airlines ( AK 'Samal Air' JSC, 'Asia Continental Airlines' JSC, " Euro-Asia International" JSC, 'Semeyair' JSC, and 'Irtysh-Air' JSC)

If these five airlines do not settle the claims until August 1, their certificates will be also called back.

We are reminding of the fact that the process of recertification of air companies and aircraft operating commercial flights, was launched in March of this year, together with ICAO specialists. At present the result of the carried out work is the following: recertification of 32 airlines, 29 maintenance organizations, and 73 aircraft.

Until the end of August this year the Committee of Civil Aviation intends to complete the process of accreditation.
