Tremors of Afghan quake felt in Shymkent, Taraz

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - An earthquake measuring 6.9 on the MPV scale hit the territory of Afghanistan today. The tremors were felt in the Kazakh cities of Shymkent and Taraz, Kazinform reports.

The quake was recorded 894 kilometers southwest of Almaty city at 1:07 p.m. Almaty time.

It had a depth of 180 kilometers.
