Turgun Syzdykov officially becomes 2015 presidential candidate

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan has officially registered Turgun Syzdykov as a candidate for the Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to Secretary of the Commission Bakhyt Meldeshov, Mr. Syzdykov submitted all necessary documents to participate in the 2015 presidential race. He also collected more than 98,000 voters' signatures. According to the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a presidential candidate needs to collect at least 93,012 signatures of voters to participate in the elections.
