Turkistan region assembles largest transformer in CA
Asia Trafo has assembled the largest transformer in Central Asia, Kazinform News Agency reports citing Turkistan region's central communications service.
The transformer’s height is 10 meters, and its length exceeds 13 meters. Its total weight is 295 tons.
A three-phase transformer with a capacity of 250 thousand kilovolt-amperes and a voltage of 500 kilovolt can electrify an entire city.
The company plans to export giant transformers to the CIS countries in the nearest time and has already launched design works on the assembly of large and unit transformers.
Asia Trafo is a part of Alageum Electric, a leading manufacturer of electrical equipment in Kazakhstan. It unites more than 30 large enterprises and plants successfully operating in the field of electric power, electric machine industry and construction, including such enterprises as Kentau Transformer Plant (Kentau city), and specialized company JSC Electromontazh.
