Turkmenistan completes construction of gas pipeline to Iran

ASHGABAT. November 12. KAZINFORM Turkmenistan has completed the construction of a gas pipeline to Iran; Kazinform refers to ITAR-TASS.

Specialists from the state-owned company Turkmengaz reported to Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov on Wednesday that the Dovletabad-Salyp Yar pipeline was ready to be filled with gas, national television said.

"Intensified cooperation with Iran in the field of natural gas supplies is consistent with the strategy of diversification of energy exports, mutual benefits, economic expediency and sound competition," Berdymukhamedov said when visiting the country's biggest Dovletabad field; Kazinform cites ITAR-TASS.
