TURKSOY Secretary General Kaseinov participated in UN Nowruz Commission

ISTANBUL. March 19. KAZINFORM - Secretary General of TURKSOY Dusen Kaseinov March 14-18 was on a working visit to the United States, where he attended the meeting of the Nowruz Commission to the United Nations.

During the trip, Kaseinov had working meetings in New York and Washington, he also took part in the celebrations of Nowruz, organized in the United States with the support of TURKSOY, and in the annual meeting of the Turkish-American Union (TAA), held on March 14, 2013 in Washington, DC .

The latter event was organized by the Scientific Forum, the sessions of which were devoted to the Turkic countries.

Each year the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) organizes events to celebrate Nowruz.

In 2010 the TURKSOY organization conducted the Nowruz celebrations at the headquarters of UNESCO in Paris and in Strasbourg in 2011, Nowruz stepped over the ocean and was celebrated on a different continent, in the United States.
