Two buses caught in snow drift in E Kazakhstan region
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Rescuers evacuated 56 passengers of two commuter buses in East Kazakhstan region on early Tuesday morning.
The buses got stuck in a snow drift on the Karaganda-Ayagoz-Bugaz motorway, officials say. 5 rescuers were working at the scene for a couple of hours. There were 9 children among those rescued. Local emergency authorities warn that a possibility of avalanches in the snow laden slopes of East Kazakhstan region remains high.
