Two earthquakes hit Almaty region
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Two earthquakes have been registered in Almaty region on August 14, Kazinform has learnt from the press service of seismic experimental and methodological expedition of the Kazakh Ministry of Education And Science.
10.0 energy class earthquake has been registered August 14 at 4:38 a.m. Astana time 277 km south-east of the city of Almaty in China. Another earthquake of 4.5 magnitude was registered on the same day at 3:15 a.m. The epicenter was 534 km south west of Almaty on the territory of Kyrgyzstan. No casualties were reported.
