Two fires, two victims in Almaty and Karaganda regions

ASTANA. December 19. KAZINFORM A single-family house caught fire at 16:55 PM in Koksusk district of Almaty region yesterday.

According to the Kazakh Ministry of Emergency's press service, the fire was stifled at 18:30 PM by Almaty emergency department. The fire covered an area of 12 sq.m. An elderly woman's body was found at the scene.

A fire broke out at an apartment in Stepnoi microdistrict at 00:01 AM on Tuesday in Karaganda. The fire was put out before the firemen arrived. The fire covered an area of 1.5 sq.m. People on the spot discovered an elderly man's body in the burnout apartment.
