Two Kazakh citizens extradited from Kiev

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Prosecutor General's Office in conjunction with the officers of the Interior Affairs Agency has carried out extradition from Kiev to Astana of the two citizens of Kazakhstan, F.Gladkih and N.Zhuanyshpayeva wanted by the IAD of Akmola region, the press service of the department informs.

According to the press service, in march 2010 Gladkih driving a truck, violated traffic regulations and collided with six passenger cars, as a result of the accident two drivers died from injuries, one passenger suffered serious harm to health. During the criminal investigation the suspect escaped from the country. Three years later, in August 2013 Gladkih was detained in the Zhytomyr region of the Ukraine.

N. Zhuanyshpayeva is being accused of large scale fraud. In 2011-2012, Zhuanyshpayeva worked as a director of "Ak -Dan" LLP and conducted currency exchange business. By means of deceit and abuse of trust she stole in total USD 253 600 from 11 people. In May 2012 the woman was placed on the international wanted list. In August last year she was also apprehended on the territory of the Ukraine.

In the International Airport of Astana the extradited persons were handed over to the officers of the capital detention center.
