Two Kazakh tennis players to compete at Australian Open Junior Championships 2025

Two Kazakh athletes will compete at the Australian Open Junior Championships 2025 slated to be held on January 18-25, in Melbourne, Kazinform News Agency has learnt from Olympic.kz.

Amir Omarkhanov (ranked 16th) and Zangar Nurlanuly (ranked 73rd) will kick off their Australian Open Junior Championships 2025 campaigns in the main draw of the upcoming season’s first Grand Slam event.

This will be Nurlanuly's first high-level tournament in his professional career. Omarkhanov propelled to the quarterfinals of the Australian Open Junior Championships last year.
