U.S. still looks for its missing citizen in Iran after 1,000 days

WASHINGTON. December 4. KAZINFORM The United States ones again asks the Iranian authorities to provide any possible information on American citizen, Robert Levinson, who went missing on March 9, 2007, during a business trip to Kish Island, Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.

"Today marks 1,000 days since the disappearance of American citizen Robert Levinson... The United States calls on the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran to assist in providing any information on Mr. Levinson's whereabouts and in ensuring his prompt and safe return to his family," the U.S. White House said in a statement.

The statement said that Levinson's case remains a priority in the internal policy of the United States.
