Ukrainian events won't affect tenge rate - economic analysts Khudaibergenov

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Complicated political situation in Ukraine does not affect the rate of tenge, this opinion was expressed by economic analysts Olzhas Khudaibergenov.

"Ukrainian political events do not affect tenge rate. Foreign trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Ukraine equals to 4% and the balance of trade is approximately USD 200 million. Thus, the events in Ukraine are not able to influence tenge rate and especially devaluation", said O. Khudaibergenov.

On the contrary, according to the analyst, in the near future there may be some strengthening of tenge towards the lower bound - 182-183 tenge.
