UN Deputy Secretary awarded Roerichs' medal

LONDON. December 6. KAZINFORM  The UN Deputy Secretary - General Director of the UN Office in Geneva Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev was awarded a commemorative medal and a memorable badge "The Banner of Peace" Kazinform correspondent has learnt from the International Center of the Roerichs (ICR).

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of cooperation in the field of cultural heritage.
K. Tokayev noted the importance of the ICR in popularization of the Roerich Pact and the Roerich heritage conservation.
