UN Development Program in Kazakhstan held meeting in Almaty
ALMATY. March 31. KAZINFORM /Aigul Turysbekova/ A workshop with participation of reps of the UN in Kazakhstan has been held today in the Kazakh National Agrarian University in Almaty. The reps informed the faculty, students, master degree program students of the University on the activity of the programs and projects of the UNDP, concerning the agrarian education and science in our country.
The organizer of the workshop is the international department of the University. Director of the UNDP Department for Environment and Energy in Kazakhstan Inkar Kadyrzhanov, national coordinator of the project of the Kazakh Government, the Global Ecological Fund and the UNDP Kuralai Karibayeva informed the participants of the workshop on the projects, implemented in Kazakhstan. They called students for cooperation and proposed themes for diploma papers. They invited students to take part in scientific expeditions as well.
At the end of the conference the reps of the UN presented scientific literature to the library of the University.
