UN Under-Secretary-General arrived in Almaty

ALMATY. November 10. KAZINFORM. /Serik Koibagarov/ UN Under-Secretary-General and Executive Secretary of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) Noeleen Heyzer arrived with a working visit in Almaty yesterday.

Ms. Heyzer is expected to hold working meetings with the representatives of Kazakh Foreign Affairs Ministry, UN Office in Kazakhstan and other international organizations in Almaty.

Thereafter Noeleen Heyzer will go to Kyrgyzstan to take part in the economic forum of the UN Special Programme for the Economies of Central Asia (SPECA) on November 12.
