Undefeated UFC champion Shavkat Rakhmonov surprises his first coach with a new car
Kazakhstan’s undefeated MMA champion Shavkat Rakhmonov (18-0) bought his first coach Bayan Zhangalov a new car as a sign of respect and recognition, Kazinform News Agency reports.
It was namely Bayan Zhangalov who led Shavkat Rakhmonov to the world MMA champion’s and M-1 Global champion’s titles.
In the latest UFC welterweight rankings, Shavkat Rakhmonov, nicknamed as “Nomad”, holds the third line staying behind Belal Muhammad (2nd) and Kamarudeen Usman (1st). Leon Edwards from England is the champion in this division.
Earlier, at the UFC 296 tournament, held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas (USA), Shavkat Rakhmonov defeated American fighter Stephen Thompson via a rear-naked choke submission in the second round.
