Under leadership of N. Nazarbayev we improve work of OSCE and define new principles for further work - Hans-Dietrich Genscher

PARIS. October 28. KAZINFORM /Dimash Syzdykov/ Certainly, under leadership of the President of Kazakhstan we will be able to improve the work of the OSCE and define new principles for further work. Former German Foreign Minister Hans-Dietrich Genscher said it at the conference dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Charter of Paris and presidency of Kazakhstan in the OSCE.

He noted that Kazakhstan succeeded in organizing the OSCE Summit after 11 years since last meeting. Besides, the NATO Summit in Lisbon in November and the meeting of the Heads of State on 'Russia-NATO' according to him a proof of trust on Euro-Atlantic territories.

'We believe that these conferences are going to be successful. I wish the participants take the right measures as we did 35 years ago in Helsinki and 20 years ago in Paris', former German Foreign Minister said.

He also noted that attention of the entire world would be concentrated around Astana during the Summit. In this regard he expressed hope that the meeting in future Astana would be referred to as meeting in Helsinki and Paris.
