Unique historical photos and motion picture films brought back from Mongolia to Kazakhstan
A delegation of the Central State Archives of Film and Photographic Documents and Sound Records of Kazakhstan recovered unique historical photos and motion picture films about Kazakhstan as part of research works at the National Archives of Mongolia, Kazinform News Agency learnt from the Kazakh Culture and Information Ministry's press service.
The delegation members arrived in Ulaanbaatar for a working visit under the Archives 2025 package plan to collect historical sources concerning the history and culture of Kazakhstan.
They found 90 documentary photographs and a film print with a total running length of 92 minutes. The film features festive events held at Bayan Ulgii region and the life of local Kazakhs, while historical photos depict the life of the Kazakhs living in Bayan Ulgii region, performances of artists of local theatres, and outstanding figures who visited Mongolia over the years.
