ALMATY. KAZINFORM - House of friendship under the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan has opened an international scientific-practical conference themed "Kazakhstan's model of interethnic tolerance and social accord initiated by Nursultan Nazarbayev: twenty years of success and creativity" dedicated to the year of the Assembly.

The event is being held on behalf of the Minister for Education and Science Aslan Sarinzhipov. In his speech, Director of "Kogamdyk kelіsіm" republican state institution - Doctor of Political Sciences Natalia Kalashnikova said that President Nazarbayev openly demonstrates Kazakhstan's experience in the field of optimization of interaction between different ethnic groups and religions. At the X session of the Assembly in 2003 Nursultan Nazarbayev emphasized approaches to understanding the nature and components of the model. In 2008 Head of State identified five its principles. Mrs. Kalashnikova stressed that unity of the people is a key principle of Kazakhstan's model of interethnic tolerance and social accord. According to her words, Kazakhstan's model is based on fundamentality, constitutional concept, and social accord. Kazakhstanis appreciate "One country - One destiny" principle mentioned in Kazakhstan-2050 Strategy and in the Doctrine of the National Unity.
