Unstable weather forecast in Kazakhstan Jan 1

Most of the territory of Kazakhstan will be affected today by a cyclone from the Scandinavian Peninsula, due to which unstable weather is expected, Kazinform News Agency learned from Kazhydromet.

Northern, northwestern, central and eastern regions will see snow and blizzard, as well as gusting wind.

Western, southern and southeastern parts will see precipitation (rain and snow).

Foggy and windy conditions are forecast across the country, with black ice to form on the roads.

Wind speed in the daytime in the east, south of Kostanay region, west and south of the North Kazakhstan region, west and north of Akmola region may exceed 30 meters per second.
