Unstable weather to persist across Kazakhstan Jul 18

The Southern cyclone and atmospheric fronts caused by it will keep affecting most parts of Kazakhstan on Thursday, July 18, Kazinform News Agency reports.

According to Kazhydromet, heavy rainfall and thunderstorm, hail and squall will hit northern, eastern, central regions, as well as mountainous and piedmont areas of the southeast. Wind speed will increase across the country.

Fervent heat will grip Atyrau and Mangystau regions in the daytime.

Fire threat is expected to be high in Atyrau region, in the west, north, and south of West Kazakhstan region, northwest, northeast of Zhambyl region, south and center of Abai region, southwest of Aktobe region, southeast of East Kazakhstan region, west of Ulytau region, north of Zhetysu region and east of Pavlodar region.

Extremely high fire risk persists in Mangystau region, southeast of Atyrau region, south of Kostanay region, desert areas of Turkistan region, center and south of Kyzylorda region, and west of Zhambyl region.
