URGENT: 5 members of terrorist group, including leader killed in Almaty region

ASTANA. December 4. KAZINFORM On Saturday, December 3, five members of the terrorist group, including their leader, were killed in Boraldai village of Ili district, the press service of the Kazakh Prosecutor-General's Office reports.

As earlier reported, members of the group killed two policemen on this November 8 and planned a new violent campaign in Almaty. On December 3 as a result of special investigation activities the leader and some members of the group were found in Boraldai village. The militants refused to give up and offered an active armed resistance. In the course of apprehending five members of the terrorist group, including their leader were killed.

No victims and injured among the civilians were reported.
