URGENT: Activities of terrorist group of 6 persons stopped in Uralsk

ASTANA. February 8. KAZINFORM An operational investigative group of the department of the National Security Committee for West Kazakhstan region together with the regional department of internal affairs in Uralsk, on February 4, 2012, stopped activities of a terrorist group consisting of six persons.

There was initiated a criminal case; the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

As a result of searches of their residence there were found and seized components of improvised explosive devices and materials that promote terrorism.
