US Consulate Almaty invites to enjoy Little Women drama

ALMATY. KAZINFORM This Friday at the American Corner will be a screening of a 1994 American drama film - Little Women.

The film is based on the Louisa May Alcott's novel of the same name and directed by Gillian Armstrong, starring Winona Ryder, Susan Sarandon, Trini Alvarado, Claire Danes, Kirsten Dunst, Christian Bale and others. It's about the March sisters, who are growing up in Concord, Massachusetts during the Civil war and experiencing their first love, hopes and disappointments, formation of their life positions and beginning of their independent life. The movie screening is on August 15 at 3pm. American Corner is located inside the Children's Library on Tole bi 27 corner of Dostyk Avenue. The movie will be in English and it's free and open to the public, the U.S. Consulate Almaty Facebook account reads.
